As you might have seen on this week’s press release, Mexico is now imposing brands to put a large stop sign on food products that have high sodium. This new labeling guidelines have forced brands to shift their mindset and look for healthier alternative options. In addition, they have started to look for low sodium technologies, of which Salarius’s MircroSalt is the only technology we are aware of that can reduce the sodium consumption without affecting the flavor of the product.
