The report is broken down into three main sections:
- The technical merits and challenges of your invention
- The intellectual property (IP) rights that you may have available
- The commercial potential and pathways available to commercialize your invention
Each report contains an “Executive Summary” which highlights the analyst’s findings. In the conclusion, useful regulatory information and potential industry partners are provided.
The idea to create our analysis system for invention triage came from our founder, Dr. Michael Manion. After spending several years in the university sector commercializing technologies, Michael created the tool we use today to analyze thousands of technologies. As such, the system was first built for universities as a screening tool to assist technology managers working with researchers and their many inventions.
We have over 250 university and government research lab clients worldwide, as well as a growing base of corporate clients, technology commercialization professionals, and individual inventors. IE is an established tool for many reputable institutions and inventors seeking rapid, economic and powerful objective analyses.
Our streamlined process relies on our proprietary software system which is driven by our subject matter expert analysts. Our knowledge base comes from various public sources which are all referenced and accessible in our reports through hyperlinks. Our algorithms organize this information, freeing the analyst to focus on understanding the core of the technology, researching it and delivering the findings in a timely fashion. Our system guides them in an efficient, step-by-step, thorough process which allows them to do an extensive amount of research in a short amount of time.
Our objective technology assessment reports are the only service and product Invention Evaluator offers in order to maintain objectivity and focus in the analysis of your invention or technology.
We do provide Market Reports (which omit IP research and have a market emphasis with more potential partners, etc.) and IP Reports (which omit market section and focus on more IP searches) which are available upon request during the submission process at the same price.
